Terms & Conditions
Last updated February 2026
These terms govern your use of ucanUCAT ("we", "us"), an independent UCAT ANZ preparation platform operated from Australia. By creating an account, purchasing access, or continuing to use the service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service. You must be of legal age to enter into this agreement, or have the permission of a parent or guardian.
The service
ucanUCAT provides original, UCAT-style practice questions, worked explanations, timed practice, mock exam simulation and performance analytics. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the official UCAT ANZ consortium or any university. Practice scores are estimates only and we make no guarantee of any particular UCAT result or admissions outcome.
Accounts
- You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
- You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for activity under your account.
- Accounts are for a single individual. Sharing an account is not permitted.
Access and payment
Access is sold as Monthly Access (a recurring subscription) or the UCAT Season Pass (a single payment giving access until the end of the current UCAT ANZ testing season). Prices are shown at checkout in the applicable currency and include any taxes that must be collected.
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Payment, billing, tax, cancellation and refund mechanics are also governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms.
- Monthly Access renews automatically each month until cancelled. You can cancel at any time and access continues until the end of the paid period.
- The Season Pass does not renew. Access ends on the published season end date.
Refund policy
We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee. If you are not satisfied with your purchase, you may request a full refund within 30 days of your order date. Refunds are processed by our payment provider, Paddle — request one via paddle.net or by emailing ucanucat@gmail.com.
Acceptable use
- Do not use the service unlawfully, fraudulently, or to send spam.
- Do not copy, reproduce, redistribute, resell or publish our questions, explanations or mocks.
- Do not scrape, bulk-download, reverse engineer, probe or interfere with the security of the service.
- Do not share your account or circumvent access controls or technical limits.
Intellectual property
All questions, explanations, mocks, software, design and branding remain our property. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service for your own UCAT preparation for the duration of your access period.
Service availability
We aim to keep the service available and accurate, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free performance. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded.
Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate access for material breach of these terms, non-payment, suspected fraud or security risk, or repeated or serious misuse. Where access ends, you may request an export of your own practice data within a reasonable period.
Liability
To the extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability is limited to the fees you paid in the 12 months before the claim, and we exclude indirect or consequential loss including loss of profits, data or opportunity. We do not exclude liability for fraud, death or personal injury where it cannot lawfully be excluded.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Australia, and the courts of Australia have jurisdiction over disputes.
